Lion Cubs Aren't Show and Tell Props!

🚨 Urgent Alert to Big Cat Rescuers 🚨

Hey Big Cat Rescuers,

I've got something urgent to share that strikes at the very core of what we believe in: the ethical treatment and conservation of big cats.

Recently, Willow Cove Early Learning Center & Preschool in Belle Vernon, PA hosted an event featuring Jamie Kemmerer of "Wild World of Animals." You may recall that Grant Kemmerer, Jamie's spouse, was exposed in Michael Webber's eye-opening film, "The Conservation Game," as a faux CON$ervationist. Their organization has a long history of animal exploitation.

At this event, a juvenile lion cub named "Earl" was exploited. This isn't just morally wrong; it's potentially illegal under the Big Cat Public Safety Act. If any of the children or teachers were within 15 feet of Earl, that's a violation of the law.  We don't know if the cub was handled by the public because it was reported that the handlers instructed everyone NOT to take photos while the lion cub was present.  That should have been a clue to the clueless teachers and administrators who made this abysmal display possible.

Willow Cove has removed the post about this event from their social media, but that's not enough. We need them to commit to NEVER hosting a wildlife exploiter again. It teaches children the worst possible message; which is that it's OK to treat wild animals like show and tell props.

Please reach out to them and to the other venues below that plan to bring his same miserable menagerie to their events.
