No more circus tigers and lions in Massachusetts!
Massachusetts state bills H.2934 / S.2028 would ban the use of exotic animals, such as lions, tigers, elephants, and bears, in the circus and other traveling shows. These bills are now before two powerful committees: the House Committee on Ways and Means (H.2934) and the Senate Committee on Ways and Means (S.2028). Your voice is needed to keep these bills moving toward the finish line!
The life of a circus cat is full of neglect and abuse. Animals are often ripped from their mothers at a very young age to learn behaviors and tricks that people will pay to see. No big cat chooses to jump through a ring of fire or balance on a pedestal. These are unnatural acts that cats are forced to perform through coercion and physical abuse.
